Hi,
I have downloaded and installed DNNPortal-Download. all OK.
Put the module on a page, also OK, then try to setup download options but can see no items referring to downloads in the module settings, plenty of settings for uploads. I have tried everything I can think of with no success.
It is not a permissions problem.
What am I missing ?

Not sure, that I understand your problem right!
If you have placed the module on a page you must open the module settings, and there you will at the bottom a section which is called DNNPortal-Download Settings.
This section includes more sub sections for upload, notification, security etc..
You are missing this section of settings ?
