I would second the motion to allow for multiple user entries.

I'm in the same situation (newborn blog), but I could see the same applied to a news blog where you have multiple reporters entering their daily news (similar to what you'd find at www.hardocp.com or www.geek.com ).

I couldn't imagine it being difficult to do this. Why not allow for a specific group (security role) to enter data? One can then create a blog editor security role and add/remove users to the blog easily.

I don't understand the problem. If you have many authors you can create a dedicated blog for each author, and in the most recent view, the blog entries of each author will be shown. The idea of this blog module is to have a personal blog. What you describe is more like writing articles. If you like to do this you can use a module e.g. Articles from efficionconsulting.

I don't agree with this. Surely it is possible (all is possible) but the main idea of the blog module based on is that a blog has a correspond user id and not a member role.

If you like to make a personal change in this direction feel free to do this, the most recent version is available now on the blog project page dotnetnuke.com
