Many Dnn-Download modules

Hello, have you tried to use many modules in a single dotnetnuke site ??? I did ... and I am having some doubts over the speed of the portal ... it's been reduced... is it possible ??? thanks in advance

What Version of the module you are using, and what DNN version you have installed ?

Do you mean on a single page, correct !?
If you mean 2 or 3 modules yes, no more.
How many module do you have tried in a single page ?
If you like you can show by yourself what happens when a module will be loaded, the source code is available.

Do you have more detailed information:
  • how man modules do you have installed?
  • are you using large pictures for the entries in the module.?
  • how long does it takes to load a page without a DNNPortal-Download module?
  • how long does it takes to load a page with one DNNPortal-Download module?
  • how long does it takes to load a page with two DNNPortal-Download modules?
Waiting for more information.

Thank you for your answer !!! I am using the 4.0.2 version of your module and the 04.04.01 version of DNN. I have only one module on a single page, but like 1300 pages...at least for now... on most of which i use your module ... I have installed like 15 modules altogether in the site... I dont have large pictures...but i think that all these database calls and the number of modules are slowing down a bit ... i'am not using compression at all... Thank you again for your reply... There is no reason to say sorry: I'm the developer of DNNPortal-Download and it is my module !
Do you have done any special performance tests with and without my module ?

I believe the problem is not my module.

I remember a performance problem with DNN version 4.4.x and large sites (many tabs).
I have tried to find the information in the forum (if I remember right it was a post from Shaun Walker himself), but I couldn't find it yet.
I will try to find the post and reply then the link to the post here in the forum.
