This post is according to NewBlog Version 3.1.18.

If you are using Internet Security 2004 or Zone Alarm Pro it could be happend that NewBlog run into an error:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

For that reason I have created a patch for NewBlog.

The patch file NewBlog_3_1_18_Patch.Zip is attached to that posting.

Download the file, unzip it, copy or upload then the file HPS.DNN.Modules.NewBlog.dll to the bin folder of your DotNetNuke application.

It would be nice if you can send a short reply whether the patch solve your problem.

I have also received your email,. but I will answer now here in the forum.

I'm a little bit surprised about the error message (DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Modules.ModuleSettingsPage).

However, currently I don't use the default setting page from DotNetNuke for the blog settings so I'm not sure what setting you are talk about.

Could you give me a more detailed description which setting do you mean.

And if you like send me an account via email, so that I can check the problem direct in your site.
