Hello HP,
I have a few ideas/thoughts/requests - I'm certain that you have already thought of them but....
1. Is there any way possible to put the blog list portion of the module on different pages other than the main blog page? For instance, is there any way to put the list of active blogs on the home page, yet have the actual blogs be on a different sub-page?
2. If the blogging community site get's popular and there are tens, hundreds or even thousands of blogs on the site, the blog list may become unmanageable. Is there a way to break up the list or search the list? The drop down being populated with all the blogs could also become very cumbersome.
3. Is there a way to give individual blogs their own URL's or page names?
4. Have you considered skinning options - so each blog could have a feeling of its own?
5. Podcasting?
I'll stop here for now - but I have more - this may already be a little overwhelming.
Thanks,
John

John,
first thanks for your suggestions.
I will give you a more general answer at this moment.
You are right I have thought by myself over the most of the requested feature you describe.
As you surely know, NewBlog has become an official dotnetnuke sub project and the future development will be done now under the simple name blog, and the module will be distributed on the official dotnetnuke site www.dotnetnuke.com.
For more information about the sub project you can visit the project homepage on dotnetnuke.com.
Each project leader of a dotnetnuke sub project has his own project blog on dotnetnuke com. I have my own project blog for the blog sub project as well on dotnetnuke, there I will report in regular basis about news round about the blog module and future development.
Currently we have worked hard for the first release an an official dotnetnuke module. The development is finished so far. We do a lot of tests now, so that we can hopefully release the first version very soon.
No Fear, I have implemented a great upgrade feature which makes a cross grade of an installed NewBlog module to the new blog module.
Be sure, the most of your suggestions will be implemented in one of the next releases.
One more time thanks for your suggestions.
Regards
